Maia is a Black American and French-Canadian actress who was born in Bristol, England and raised in Hood River, Oregon and Salmon Arm, British Columbia. 

 

Maia holds an MFA in Acting from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and a BA Honours in Drama and Economics from Queen’s University at the DAN School of Drama and Music with a training partnership with The Shaw Festival and Theatre Kingston. Maia received the Arts Management Scholarship upon graduation for outstanding leadership in producing throughout her studies by combining her passion for sports, accessibility, & diversity in theatre. Maia holds the Right to Work in the UK and can also work in Canada and the United States.

 

Maia has taught at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, URDANG – City of St. George’s University of London, and other youth drama programs across London.
