Maia is an African American and French- Canadian actress who was born in Bristol, England who was raised in Hood River, Oregon and Salmon Arm, British Columbia. She has grown up in towns with lots of lakes, mountains, and vineyards!

Maia holds an MFA in Acting from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and a BA Honours in Drama and Economics from Queen’s University at the DAN School of Drama and Music with a training partnership with The Shaw Festival and Theatre Kingston. Maia received the Arts Management Scholarship upon graduation for outstanding leadership in producing throughout her studies by combining her passion for sports, accessibility, & diversity in theatre. Maia holds the Right to Work in the UK and can also work in Canada and the United States.
